Holiday Inn - Amarillo East, an IHG Hotel

Room was very clean, comfortable beds, hot shower with good water pressure. Almost all of the furniture is versatile and can be used in different areas of the room. Staff was friendly.

Well designed newly built hotel. The atmosphere in the public rooms is excellent. Rooms are large and very well designed, with USB and power outlets everywhere. Excellent beds and bedding. Large well equipped bathroom. This is the one of the best hotel we have stayed in on our many cross country road Tripps. Highly recommended. Also very close to the Big Texan steakhouse, which is a fantastic experience if you're in Amarillo.

The breakfast was awesome! You get to order off the menu!! We came in late and were directed to a restaurant walking distance away and got takeaway. My son needed to finish up some work, and was delighted by the modern, efficient workspace in the room. The lady at breakfast was lovely. She was so accommodating of our dietary restrictions. She was also very friendly and made it a point to go to each table and have a short conversation with all the guests.
